quite frustrating cos couldn't get it right soooo many times

You might want to post your settings and some other shots to give us an idea of what the environment was like..

A few things
- You need to do a manual focus (at least for digicams)
- You need to follow through
- You need to choose a spot and snap only at that spot

shutter speed=1/6 *was this too slow??*
aperture=4.5

will try again soon.....

The subject sure blur very easily leh

Yes... 1/6 is definitely too slow..
As a general rule of thumb...

1/15s for Trishaw
1/30s for Bicycle
1/60s for Normal Vehicles
1/100s - 1/125 sec for Speeding Vehicles

If the shutter speed is too slow, then it's difficult to have a sharp image of the moving subject, too fast then everything is too sharp. Take a shot, preview it and adjust shutter speed if you are not sure.
