Hi Wai, nice photo you have. I tot it will be too close to be at the bridge.

btw, do you have any problem with the shaking ground and vibration from the passing vehicles?

Don't worry about the shaking ground, i think the blast from the firework explosion is stronger

IMO, a bit of vibration doesn't really matters for fireworks

May I know why there isnt any smoke in your fireworks shots ?
Did you PS the smoke away ? Thanks.

nope, no need to PS the smoke away

thanks to the strong wind, it was blowing the smoke to Suntec direction :bsmilie:

I was quite suprised that after the fireworks, there was no ashes falling from the sky, that's becos all blown to Suntec that side already

Someone told me that if you want to PS, u can try increase the contrast

I like the 1st picture - very clean.

By the way, will 28mm be too close to use on Shears Bridge. I'm using Olympus E-1, with 14-54mm (effective 28-104mm) 2x crop factor.

Naresh.

wow impressive! Nice WA shots

Just feel that the colors are not saturated enough :) IMHO

Thanks :D

i was using 22mm effectively, which is barely enough if u want to include a bit of the sea. May be u can find a place on the bridge nearer to suntec, which is further from the firing point.
