Filters

Hi all,

Been taking photos for sometime now, but don really understand the difference between all the filters in the markets. I know that there are warm and cool filters, and those half half ones. But recently i saw a whole list of filters like SHDC or something like that and i really have no idea.

Can someone please enlighten me what those filters are, and what's the difference from the normal UV filters?

The difference is on the filter's coatings. It reduces flares and unwanted lights that can affect the picture print out. Suggest you read books or surf the net on lens filters....
