Film Scanning

Any shops do you recommend that provide a good film scanning? I have 10 rolls of film both color and black&white and 2 box of slide for scanning.

What is the different between 8 base and 16 base?

IIRC, it's 4base versus 16base. If you feed your thread title into the search function you will find plenty of results. Also, have a look at the subforums that focus on film cameras and wet Darkroom.

I just sum it up simply..

Based on 35mm films (for most cases):
4-base = <1MB size
16-base = around 2-3MB
