Hi!

I have an opportunity to assist to photograph a stage play soon, and have no experience with such lighting (and flash photography is prohibited). Would appreciate if some one can advise on the film and any settings that I should be aware of. I intend on using ISO 800 film, would that suffice? or should I use ISO 1600? My lenses are 28-105 f3.5-4.5, 70-300f4-5.6 and 85 f1.8.

Thanks in advance.

Nick

where are you shooting, meaning the venue?

i suggest that you use Fujifilm Press 800, pushable to 1600.

press 800 is a good choice. I'd recommend you get some faster lenses though. a 200/2.8 to complement the 85/1.8 is a good choice.

Thanks for all the advice. Been most useful.

regards
Nick
