F1 2009 (Crash between BMW Sauber & Force India)

Hi guys......Good to see so many posts of F1 cars. Many excellent pics by all the CSers here. I had the luck to be at the right place at the right time to capture the accident between BMW-Sauber Nick Heidfeld and Force India’s Adrian Sutil. Just to share with you guys.

#1 BMW-Sauber Nick Heidfeld facing the wrong direction after the crash with Force India’s Adrian Sutil.

#2 Nick Heidfeld giving Adrian Sutil the magic finger : )

#3 Sutil ignores Heidfelf and drives off quickly.

#4 Heidfeld quickly scrambles away to the safety zone. Notice the rear wheel alignment !

#5 Some debris left over from Force India.

#6 Kudos the the brave road marshal who risked his life to retrieve the debris.

#7 OZ rims......Now that will make a nice souvenir.

Yes this was shot from Turn 14.

did he actually flashed the "finger", or just happened to look like it?

Somehow it looked like he showed the pinky. It should be for Sutil, who caused Nick the DNF. Nick had finished 35 races in a row before this crash.

The OZ rim cover had to be returned to the BMW team. Even the sector marshal can't keep it as souvenir. :bsmilie:

The funny thing is....i didn't realised that I captured the magic finger till i was home reviewing the pics. Just a lucky catch

i think u should post a cropped and enlarged version of that "finger" shot
everybody would love to see it up close and find out if he did flashed a finger
just to add a scandalous and intriguing sense to these events hahahah
