Sometimes the only way to prevent war is the willingness to go to war. If Chamberlain et al had not been so accomodating of Hitler's ambitions, WW2 might never have happened. If the US had not gone to war in 1941, Europe will still be under the Nazis and most of Asia under the Japanese Imperial Army. Sadly, the price of freedom is high.
