'extra ordinary' features three talented young women photographers, Erica Lai, Jennifer Koh, and Genevieve Chua. These polaroids and small-format prints feature images of flowers of the familiar sort bougainvilleas, orchids, among others. The 9th Emerging Artists Show features the works of 86 artists, all of whom graduated from art programs this year.
Jennifer Koh is co-author with Jasmine Seah of the acclaimed photography and poetry book Light is like Water. Erica Lai is a photographer award winner in the UOB Painting of the Year competition. Genevieve Chua is a well-regarded queer artist whose drawings are recently on view at La Libreria gallery. The curator Jason Wee is the 2004 Shell-NAC Award winner. He last shown in the 1st Singapore Biennale.
Galley opening hours are from 11am 6pm (Tuesdays to Saturdays)
Closed on Sundays, Mondays and Public Holidays
