Nice shot! May I know was this captured at? Is it a studio? The lights from the window lights up the bride real nice :)

Hey Exhaust! Sorry for the long absence. This was an AD shot taken at the groom's house.

Thought I'd do something else for a change this time round. Subtle lighting, subtle mix of color and monochrome. I think the effect lends itself to the image, because not many take a second, to think about what this customary rite really means.
I apologize in advance, should this come across as cheese.:D

Being a wedding photographer isn't just about documenting the wedding story; it's the stories within that make this a wonderful profession time and again.
Photographers are blessed with a gift of sight and emotion, so that we may pass that gift on to others. Here's my gift to a father and child.

I've come to the point where I no longer lust for the image of couples sealing it with a kiss.
I get my "fix" from the truthful grins of a husband and wife - that defining moment when they're talking to each other, without a word whispered; when the whole room just goes silent, and you find your defining moment.

Hey Exhaust! I took the shot at iso500, with a flash firing towards my 7pm, and tilted one click up.
Your shutter speed will determine how much ambient light goes into the image, so you'll have to figure out what the right mix is as you go along. No point telling you what shutter speed i used, because it won't apply to other locations. Hope this helps. :)
