i'm using a leica m8, i use a canon system also, but my 16-35mm mkII have hotspot, and the sensor not sensitive to IR

Thanks, I will talk with my friend whom has a range of canon lenses, from when he used to work for them many years ago. I can normally borrow.

From what I have seen discussed R72 Hoya seems to commonly used, but what would be the best IR range to get.

Thanks again for the help. Something about IR that is very intriguing and interesting.
