Esplanade Shot

Hi ppl,

thanks for your comments....

first of all...... it's a PSed sky.... meaning it's 2 separate shots. The esplanade shot had an over exposed sky.

A separate shot of the sky was taken and PSed with the esplanade shot.

What to do.... the Nikon 5700 was a temp camera before I saved enough to switch to a D70. So did not buy and accessories (eg. ND filters) for the 5700.

ND Grads wouldn't have helped in this situation anyway, in fact, ND Grad filters are not helpful at all unless you are shooting something with a straight line that separates the bright and the dark portions. They don't work well for this kind of shot, skyline shots, most mountain shots, etc.
