new firmware v1.4 for EP5...

if i remember correctly, it's under exposure/ISO setting, look for anti-shock..
the anti-shock setting has always been there but limited to 1/8s previously.

thanks for that I have found it now. Off on hols in a couple of hours so was keen to get it sorted.

i have a qn :

now with anti-shock settable at 0 sec, should i just set it as "ON" ? it should help reduce blur for shutter speed < 1/320.

any bros can clarify ?

thks !

It is not just "0" second. It changes completely the way the EP5's shutter operates at speeds lower than 1/320s. The first mechanical shutter curtain is disabled and reverts to electronic, thereby eliminating the shake associated with the mechanical impact of the first curtain.

Uncle Steve Huff mentioned something about improved focus peaking. Anyone felt the difference over v1.2? It wasn't mentioned in the official Oly update service site under firmware v1.4 Description.

ah-ha ! thks !
