Eos 5 or 3000v?

My friend is buying a new camera and he can't decide between the two. Can anyone give advice?

if you buy a A2 (usa counterpart of eos5) there is a diopter which is more for useful for ppl like me!

there is eye control but think it's not working as well as the later versions though.

i think its the first generation models cannot use while holding your camera in a portrait mode.

Yes you are right. eye control not working at portrait mode........ very sure........ cos I still have one.......
