Empty chairs...

Hey guys, just took this photo. Hoping to instill a sense of melancholy...Benches being lined up, yet they are empty...Ironically, I took the photo on a Sunday, and it was hell crowded with masses of filipinos having picnics, families and children, photographers...Does this photo work for you in creating the mood...though, some might find it plain and uninteresting...perhaps

Composition wise, contrast, c&c welcome.

would be better if you go closer to a chair and take it a row down showing other benches and the empty road

Hey thnks for the comment. Think I have to agree with you. Hmm, there wasn't an empty road...haha. you'll see a crowd if I took a different point of view...but I must say e background e chairs are facing arent too appealing...
