EF 50mm f/1.8 II for landscape

Hey guys,

In your opinion, is it possible to do good photographs of landscape using an EF 50mm f/1.8 II on a 1.6X Field of View Crop Factor (FOVCF) camera body eg Canon 350D?

Or these kind of photohgraphs:

Will the Depth of Field be too shallow?

Its fine for landscape, it fine for those type of shots depending on aperture setting.

why not? i use 200mm sometimes and if u check out luminous-landscapes, he uses quite a fair bit of telephoto for his landscapes.
