Hi all,

I am deciding among the above mentioned 2 lenses.
Put aside the price. I would like to hear your comments.

Yes, it may seems simple that, use a zoom to test out the focal length I like.

My thoughts:
1. A lot of my wide angle photos are 24 mm, if not it will be around 35 - 40 mm, when I am using a 24-105. This could just mean I am use to 24 mm - no need to just 'zoom' a little bit to 28 / 30 mm.
2. I have read reviews: seems both 24 and 28 F2.8 are almost on par, for IQ. Any important points you may share?
3. The purpose for me to get this lens is to use as a wide angle prime - I found my 35 F2 IS is a bit tight sometimes when I need a wide shot.
4. The confuse arise: if I get 24 F2.8, may be I can have my 35 F2 as a great companion (a few online review state this); but if I have my 28 F2.8, I may be able to skip my 35 F2 sometimes and just pair up with 50 F1.4.
5. Do you believe in this statement:"with 24 mm, i can crop out unwanted part if it is too wide; with 28 mm, I cannot reproduce the 'wide' that is needed when there is a space constrain"

Sometimes, too much comparison makes me confuse, so probably you may point out something that could enlighten me. Thanks!
