Hi, i am new in this photography hobby/forum. Currently using a 3yrs old Olympus C-4000zoom 4.0m.pixel. Want to upgrade to DSLR Canon 350D, can any kind soul advice me on where can i get a gd offer/price for this cam, or should i wait for a better promotion?

From my singapore reef club senior- bwilly , i get to know this DSLR 350D cam and Harvey Norman is offering 2x 1G CF memory (1G Kingston (normal speed) CF & 1G Lexar 80x CF) with a small Digi tripod, Canon bag and free 3yrs harvey norman warranty for sg$1999 < is this promotion still available or there are better deals?? ?

canon is giving a 1G CF card in its promo, so you'll get this wherever you buy a 350D. see the canon website.

you can get a lower price if you buy just the kit at another shop (e.g. alan photo or cathay) maybe $17xx. this has 1yr canon s'pore warranty.

you should consider whether $200+ extra for a kingston card and 3yr harvey norman warranty is worth your money.

Which one is better D70 or 350D ? reason vs price ? :dunno:
Plan want to upgrade to DSLR once my saving is sufficient.

they both have different strengths, and are around the same price.

but first you must give some info: what is your main area of photography?
