I would like to know what level of humidity do you guys normally set it to for storing of your cameras?

And also, do you put your camera with strap in? And is it alright if i chuck the camera bag in as well cos, well... i'm a little lazy and don't like to put things all over the place..

I have heard from 45% - 55% and some say 40% - 50%. So I guess you can't go wrong between 45% - 50%. From my experience, locking and not locking the door seems to make a difference of about 5% to 10%. I guess locking it creates a tighter seal causing the humidity to drop further.

I used to chuck everything in the dry cabinet. But now a days, space is getting tight due to the increasing number of lenses. So everything else goes into a box and placed in a cupboard.
