Is there a software that can help to remove dust/marks etc. from scanned prints? I realize many flatbed scanners only have this feature for films only.

Some Epson scanners have ICE for prints (e.g. 4990, V700) but it is not always very effective. It is hardware-based though versus software. Hardware is better than software for this type of correction but it still often makes incorrect attempts at correction.

I've read about epson v700 scanner, but was not sure about its capabilities on prints (dust & scratch removal). Was thinking if it is able to to do some partial correction and then I could work on it with photoshop -- hopefully it will lighten the workload of photo restoration.

Personally I would put my money on photoshop cs5 and its content aware heal than the V700 and its software dust removal... just my 2 cents:)
