Dear experts

I would like to know the difference between the types of digital camera available in the market:

1) Consumer Digicams (A40, V3, S45 etc)
2) Prosumer Digicams (G3, F717 etc)
3) DSLR (10D, 1D, D60 etc)

Would appreciate if someone can enlighten me on these issues:

1) ISO ratings
2) Manual Focus
3) White Balance controls
4) Aperture Ranges
5) Shutter Speed (max/min)
6) Focal Length
7) Focal Range

Thanks!

Thanks! Will continue to post my queries if I need further assistance. ;)

Hi,

For the second part of your questions, you might want to take a peep at this website,

http://www.nikon.co.jp/main/eng/photo_world/kumon/index.htm

Hope it helps. :)

This may sound stupid, but I really like to know what does a digital camera's external wide angle lense do? Does it help to "zoom" further or what? thanks

wide angle is like what it implies, help the camera to see a wider angle. ;)

regards
