"Devil" Eyes

Heh guys,

First post here, got recommended to this sites by folks from the Hardwarezone.

I just got into the foray of DigiCam world. I bought a Nikon 885 recently and is having some problem taking pictures of my dog.

Seems like my dogs has red reflection in their eyes on the pic, looks like those devil eye (dun know the technical term, pardon me)

Are there anyway to get rid of those effect?

If you've paintshop pro, it's even easier 'coz there's a remove redeye function.

Btw, to avoid red eye issues, it's best to take pictures in a well-lit environment. If you've no choice, then try to be as close to the subject as possible. Activate the red-eye reduction mode on your cam if it's available.
