I have been photographing with black and white film and digitally scan all the photos never have a single print. So I decided to make prints of all the selected negatives. It will be a 100 prints for this year, mostly all portraitures and a little landscapes.

Dark room session - Printing from 4x5 enlarge onto 12"by 16" fiber papers is so therapeutic. I still have about 200 4x5 negatives to print from.

Thanks for sharing the passion  I need to head back into the darkroom soon.

You should, keep printing your favorite prints

Where do you usually do the prints?

Need membership to use the darkroom?

Need membership to use the darkroom?

You need to be a SAFRA Photographic Club member and has taken the B/W photography course there or can demonstrate competency in using the darkroom equipment.

Woah... 4x5 enlarger. Wish I could print 4x5 at home. So far printing 35 and 120 not as shiok... Looks like you had a great time, nice results.

I don't own a darkroom, the darkroom with the 45 enlarger are rented on session basis.

For SAFRA darkroom , u have to be a member of their photo club.

I'm not an active member, but I use their darkroom very intensively..

Is there anyone offering more advanced training or masterclass or mentoring?
(the NAFA darkroom class is a start but quite basic, Safra/Objektif sounded the same)

I only know this few institutions that you mention. Yes they teach basic stuffs... After all, all the basic learn. You have to practice. I'm just a practitioner. Able to get decent prints and able to operate various darkroom... If there is I would like to see what the master class would offer for a beginner like me...
