D80 + SB800 question

how come the TTL -BL mode on the Sb800 doesnt come on after i reset the flash ? it was there when i first got it off the shop .. the BL function should work wif the D80 ...

I think it has to do with the orientation of the flash head if I don't remember wrongly. Try it again?
