Hi all

My D80's AF motor seems to be abit shaky..
lensmount01.jpg
The AF at 7 Oclock. Is it meant to be that way?

Pls help ! TIA!

its alrite to be a little shaky as it acts as a screwdriver to drive older AFD lens.

It is normal for this pin to sway a bit so that it will adjust to engage with the lens mechanism

I see. Thanks! The focusing sound of the 18-135 must be so weird then. Maybe I'm not used to it since my 50mm is always on it ;)

The body's focusing motor is not in use with the 18-135, being a SWM lens.

I am aware. But it seems that when I'm AF-ing. The 18-135 doesnt give me such a crisp sound as the 50mm :)
