For the slight difference in price, I would go for SB910. I got a SB910, its heavier and bulkier, but won't regret it.

SB-910 used to be like S$640-680, I believe now is below S$600. SB-700 is about S$400?

SB-910 will refresh faster in same situation because you don't have to fire at nearer to full power as the SB-700.
With SB-700 once you got spot meter on the camera it will go TTL and on Matrix it will go TTL-BL. on SB-910 you have full control.
SB-910 lets you zoom to 200m for narrow lighting, more control if you someday do CLS.
SB-910 is not much heavier than SB-700.

If you do large group shot in a dim restaurant, you will want the SB-910. You will need the DOF hence surely at least f/4, then 1/60s to be sharp in case the people move a little, at ISO100-500, you will need SB-910 to bounce on the ceiling.

This thread is getting low on activity. Anyway, just to share with you guys who have bought Adobe software from Adorama previously: Adobe is have a US$400 rebate off retail price for CS6.
All Adorama customers qualify for this. See this thread I posted.

Also, adorama has dropped d7000 price by 200$

The Nikon D7000 was going for slightly less than US$1,200 previously.

Not sure if local prices will also be adjusted

Just depend you wanna keep as longer battery life or prefer ori. even full charged an not used the power still there.

Think there's no 3rd party batt in SG? The original cost $5x. Personally, I think that's quite a good price.

Any idea which shops r selling? Those usual like Tk foto,Slr?Also there r a number of ML-L3 remote priced @ less than $5/-.Is there a need to worry on their reliability?

The D7000 has sensors at the back and front of the camera so the ML-L3 get a bit more operating radius. Ideally get the wired MC-DC2 shutter release its costs around 15 to 20$ in BnS and you will be happy with it.

As for the battery yes get the original as it doesn't cost too much and at around 55$ its a steal. unless of course if your talking of battery grip and not battery then that can be had for 100 to 270$
