Has anyone tried it using a Tamron / Tokina / Sigma DX lens with the D600 Auto DX set to ON?

When using non-Nikon crop lenses, Auto DX will not switch to DX mode. Only when using Nikon DX lenses will Nikon FX cameras switch to DX crop mode when Auto DX is set to ON.

Many thanks. This makes it clearer also to new users as the manual did not specifically mention 3rd party DX lenses.
