cos this price with kit lens and 1GB memory card so I thought it is good price.

this means that those people selling 2nd hand 300D body only at $1000 actually not worth it at all, no lens no memory no nothing.

not only that....most of them r e silver version....imo the black one looks more cool...lol... black looks better with grip...all black....

Soft, esp corners at the corners F3.5 (18mm) - 5.6 (55mm)
OK, at F5.6 (18) - 8.0 (55)
Quite good at F8.0 (18) - F11 (55)

Somehow the colours and saturation also improves when stopped down.
I hated the lens until I stopped it down!!
