All,

are we allowed to bring The Crumpler Customary Barge up the plane? Will it be too big and be disallowed?

Anyone have any experience of that? Care to share :)

Thank you

it does depend on the airlines in question

some airlines care more, some airlines care less

i know some of my friends have been bringing up large hand carry items (which are actually larger than the hand carry allowance) and nothing happens so long as they display they can handle it themselves with ease

No problem for SIA and Silkair. I had the slight bulkier Whickey and Cox.

Tell them you have laptop and camera inside. They will let you hand carry in most cases cos the airline will not bear the risk of damage if check in.

I have brought a stealth reporter 500, packed to the max, with 2 full bags as well. Customary barge is nothing.
