scorpion fish is the main family i think
lion fish, zebra fish, stone fish, leaf fish, are all the sub sub family members

you sure? looks for like family of lion fish to me...
judging from the body shape, i would agree with goondoo ..

I wonder if it is Zebra lionfish (Dendrochirus zebra) ... perhaps even a juvenile one ... or maybe Dwarf lionfish (Dendrochirus brachypterus) .... how big/small was it Waisj?

hoho.. its definitely looks like a dwarf lionfish that ate too much vege...

like wat bali freak says... hmm.. judging from its 13 dorsal fins and round caudal fins..
it could be a Dendrochirus zebra or Dendrochirus brachypterus..

juz cant find a pic that match exactly the one u have... the closest is this..

Yea, probably ... but at 20cm it is at the upper end of the range.

BTW, where did you take the pic?

Maybe less than that... rough gauge i think... 15 to 20 cm.

Took it at Aer Prang. Lembeh.
