Nikon Coolpix AW100

finally, a choice from nikon for shock proof, water proof, freeze proof, etc proof compact.
had been contemplating on the Oly tough and lumix LS3 ... and seeing the specs of the AW100, it should be downright top of the pack ... of course, that prolly means the price would be top of the pack as well ...



was hoping to get one under 500 ... and the lumix just cut over it @ 528.
and the lumix had the best review under dpreview last august. wonder how much the coolpix will enter?

Nice,i'm getting one too..i cant decide between olympus tg810, lumix ft3,sony tx10,pentax wg-1 and this nikon aw100..but with the price n specs,i think aw100 poisoned me deeper..

The aw100 is great and looks cool. I bought the camouflage type.

Encountered no problem at all when i was tossed at the deep blue sea while riding the banana boat.
