Convert from LX5 raw to DNG

Hi,

would like to check from expert here when I convert raw to DNG is there any loss in quality of the photo?

first time doing this.

RAW and DNG are basically the same data. The changes are rather in the 'wrapping' that is done either by the camera (according manufacturer instructions) or by the software creating the DNG file.

There may be some loss in metadata due to the change of wrapping, though.
