Compatible? An Achiever 115 A/S flash on a Canon G3.

Hi all,

My friend has a Canon G3 and this Achiever 115 A/S external flash.

Question: Can these two work together? Is the voltage from the external flash compatible with G3?

Went to this site:

My friend use it liaoz...seems no problem. However, anyone think there's any long term effect??

It'll work fine. The 115A/S has very low trigger voltage of around 2V if IIRC. Your friend probably will use the manual exposure mode on the G3 and the auto mode on the flash.
