Sorry for double posting as I took these pictures while doing a review of Canon SX50HS but I thought I place them here to share with people who don't go to Reviews Section.

This common kingfisher was so tiny, I had to crop the picture by approximately 50%

Hope this affordable yet capable bridging camera ($700 will fall to sub $700 soon I believe) can allow more people to be part of birding community at an affordable price.

thanks...ya all taken in raw with some light processing.

How was the images before the light processing?
I too purchased beginning of Feb'13, the (outdoor) images, both JEPG & RAW, I took in Auto mode were all dull.
