Can any new users of the canon give some feedback on the performance of this camera?

Heard some issues with the image softness?. Isit true?

Asked few shops knowing that the adapter is diff from A40 and hasn't reached sg yet. =(

Somemore heard A70 is made in Malaysia, not Japan...
