Bought some things from a shop, not naming it, just want to know whether price fair or not because I'm quite new to photography.

EF 70-300 IS USM: $1250
ET-65B Hood: $60
58mm B+W UV filter: $40
Manfrotto 190D Tripod: $110
Manfrotto 486RC2 Head: $85
K Tronics Anti Static Cloth: $10
Akarui E88D (around 70L): $235

All bought together at the same time, inclusive GST.
I know I'm being kiasu here but I need to know if these prices are all right so I will know whether to deal with them in future.

I bought Manfrotto 190 ProB and 486RC2($85) - total $250 on sat..
What is the diff between 190 proB and 190D?? Why mine so ex? am i cheated? please advise too.. Me newbies :cry:
 

190 is the old version, 190DB is the new one, black version. there is a silver version out too. It should be about 130 avg for a new one iirc.
485rc2 is 70+ for a new one.
 

My manfrotto 190D is silver one. As for 190ProB, maybe it's a better one :dunno:

All I know is they always price tag the things high high. Then when they key in the price, they put low low. Make you think got discount ;p
 

So no much diff la.. and im paying so much more?
 

ProB should be the black one but they are the same design and built. Just a color difference. That means you didnt do your homework well enough.

TMC, Pro and ProbB is the same.... except ProB is black...
190D is different, it's lighter, 1.7kg vs 1.9kg. The thread size and height also smaller/lower. Feature wise also different. 190d uses the wing nut on the legs, slower than the clip-type in Pro....
