ClubSNAP Zoo PhotoShoot - 26th January 2003 - Co-organised with Canon Singapore

Good news for all ClubSNAP members!

Our first, official, ClubSNAP PhotoShoot for 2003 will be held at the Singapore Zoo on 26th January. Details as follows:-

Venue: Singapore Zoo at Mandai
Date: Sunday, 26th January, 2003
Time: 9:30am to 1:30pm

Canon Singapore will be providing the following equipment for members to try out in the field under actual shooting conditions.

Confirmed list of equipment:-
1. EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM
2. EF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM
3. EF 600mm f/4L USM

On tentative list:-
1. EF 500mm f/4L USM
2. EF 1200mm f/5.6L USM
3. Canon EOS-1Ds

There will be opportunities for all members who sign up for this PhotoShoot to try out the lenses and cameras (Canon D60s belonging to current members can also be tried out). Film and Digital SLRs are both welcomed.

Canon Singapore will also be providing a small souvenir for those who turn up, but it will be limited to those who put their names down in this list.

Any non-reletaed post will be deleted.

The 600mm f/4 is the older non IS version? also note that 500 non IS is the 500 f/4.5 not the f/4. I'm surprised that Canon Singapore has 400 f/4 DO IS lying around. My impression from Cathay is that their display model is the only one in Singapore since its so hard to sell (if you want new one, have to ship from Japan).

I might be wrong, the one in CP is 400f2.8 IS DO. If in this trip is 400f4 IS DO is this means the smaller brother has entering the market? DO lenses are not L lenses......
