The Club Silverline is one of two species of the genus Spindasis to be found in Singapore. The other being the Long-Banded Silverline (Spindasis lohita senama), the Club Silverline is much rarer of the two. It is usually encountered on a bright sunny day as it zip around at high speed amongst grassy undergrowth.

The main characteristics separating the Club Silverline from the Long-Banded Silverline are the club-shaped basal streak on the underside of the forewing and the mainly black edging of the silver streaks as compared to the reddish brown of the Long-Banded Silverline. The species has two pairs of white-tipped tails and an orange tornal area on the hindwings.
