1. in what area is critique to be sought?
Composition and technique etc

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
Beauty of nature

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
Photograph was taken at a HB block, 30th storey in central part of Singapore

I don't like HDR , always look un natural , but that's only my perspective :) .

I think is my pp skills nt good enough..

- Watch your verticals, esp when you have edges of tall buildings right up the edges of the frame. Consider doing some correction.
- Severe halo along the horizon. Very typical problem with HDR. There are ways to mitigate/remove it.
- The lighting on the terrain building seems brighter than the dark sky but details in the trees are gone, only black patches left. Feels unnatural this way.
- If you are using photoshop, go easy on the detail, strength and edge glow sliders.

Keep practicing and you will improve.
