SLR mirror? If yes, try not to clean them as they won't show on the pic.

If you want to clean, be real careful. I use blower most of the time just to remove dust.

Do not touch the SLR mirror. It is half silvered, and the coating is on the upper surface. If you touch it, you risk scratching it, and you might worsen the condition. Replacing the mirror will cost you quite a bundle. Leave it alone. I've had my EOS 5 since 1996 and I've never cleaned the mirror. Just ignore it as dirt on the mirror does not affect the picture quality. Just use a blower if you really want to do something to it
