But it's usually either the BMW logo or half semicircle. Slightly translucent, think it helps in the focusing?

icic... so its more for manual focus cameras?
just that i see in during spy movies when they whip out their dslr and snap photos of their target... it usually has that little circle in the middle.

Hello..... that is some sound effects and visual effects added during the post to make the scene more interesting.... and they have no money to upgrade the effects... nowadays where got dslr come with split image focusing screen and motordrive film winding? Don't you find is so fake meh.... so 80's.
none of the current-day movies i watch come with this split-focusing screen.

In Singapore courts these images are admissible. But the presenting party has to show / confirm that the images were not altered. Most image manipulations can be detected with reasonable efforts.Digital camera images are not even admissible in court, and on TV you see the folks in CSI carrying Nikon DSLRs...

Which court? In all that I know, they are admissable so long as it can be proven they were not altered
