Saw this statue of Christ with a ray of light coming from the left ...will like to seek critique on the feel of the pic , compostion and the convertion to B/W.

sorry but i don't really feel any impact or emotion when i see this pic... in my own eyes all i see is this patch of strong sunlight on his head... making part of the picture look blown...it becomes a distraction to me instead... composition is okay but could be improved... perhaps a 3/4 view instead of a front view? otherwise it would seem too flat... : >
it looks better now... at least now when i look at it it makes me feel somewhat more solemn or sombre... the burning part on his head should be done abit more evened out... not so patchy...
