Chinese Garden rock festival?

Saw a Chinese Garden road show at Tampines Mall yesterday offering a $2 discount off all tickets. Hence, an adult ticket will cost $10 instead of the published $12.

Now they pay me $10 buck also I wont be going. :thumbsd:

Went once many years ago..just not worth 2nd visit..just lanterns..u can see it free at clarke quay tis year..and use money to buy many many lanterns for the kids, and a box of moon cakes to enjoy!

The mid-autumn festival to me..is playing with lanterns, then candles, then start burning anything u can find..:bsmilie::devil:..bt all this are history..

I remembered when i was a kid, we used to make out lanterns. We make them out of bamboo and those coloured paper used for making kites. Easiest was the star lanterns. Our lanterns are so big that the other kids in the neighbourhoor are envy of us. We use kerosene lamps to light up our lanterns and they last for hours... Now candles onlt last for a few minutes and those batery operated ones are so noisy and not nice at all.

Mid Autumn festival wil never be the same again. :cry:
