Get a ceramic bulb holder, forget about those plastic type. Ceramic holder can withstand heat of 300-500watt light bulb, only snag is, they are extremely hot after continuous usage for more than 15 minutes and above. Make sure it is out of reach for any kids and always have a towel handy to handle them.

the most important thing in a studio will be power supply. do not plug too many lights into one power source. Its a rule of thumb.
