1. Are all different brands of CF compatible with all DC that used CF?

2. Some CF like Transcend's Ultra Performance 25X, can it be used in DC? Will the taking of photo be faster with this "ultra performance" ?

1. There are some DCs which have compatibility problems but most CF cards could be used without problems.

2. Taking photos won't be faster but writing the image to the memory card could be faster. It's greatly dependent on the camera's I/O implementation. Some cameras are pretty slow in writing files whatever memory card is used, while some writes faster with faster cards.
