Can't access dpreview

guess so.. im completely alright with singnet.
i'm still out... now also cannot view soccernet.com...
buggers at starflub claims it's not their problem cos they can view dpreview...

Everyone having problems accessing dpreview should write a 'nice' complaint to Starhub at:

Basically the problem is with their overzealous proxying of ALL HTTP traffic (port 80) through their proxy servers which to dpreview seem like they're getting bombarded by millions of hits a day from that small pool of IP addresses (which actually are the proxy servers' not your assigned IP).
Its the same reason why Starhub users very rarely are able to download anything from rapidshare.de or any other filesharing sites that limit the amount of content download by IP address. Rapidshare's servers see thousands of users coming from those Ip addresses and think these users have exceeded their daily allocation of download slots.
This amounts to denial of access by the ISP (Starhub) since you cannot access the content you want through their network.
Now Starhub is trying to shift the blame to dpreview instead of fixing the problems due to the IP issue! Don't let it happen, write in to COMPLAIN! If you don't speak up, nobody else will!

yeah STARHUB seem to suk big time now adays. Complain no reply one. Send X2 billing to me some more. I called to scold them and still the bill not changed.

Uploading speed super slow some more, price so ex some more.
Don't just whine about it here, they're not going to bother. Write in and COMPLAIN, CC to everybody you know, let them know just how bad SUCKHUB really SUCK!
The only way to make a bochup company "listen" is to get users to switch or terminate their pathetic SUCKHUB MAXOFFLINE service! In short, vote with your wallets!

I'm singnet user since 1996 during dial-up time. and convert to broadband around year 2000, so far still very happy. Although during Taiwan earthquake singtel seem to recover slower than starhub, but I guess that kind of disaster no one can really predict.
FYI, my office also using singnet for the past 9 years, so far so good :thumbsup:

relax... u're not the only one.. i'm still stuck here... managed to get into a forum page once.. even then it didn't load fully... haiz..

just try after I read your msg 22 minutes ago. no problem for me.
Many here on MaxOFFline oso cannot access dpreview leh!! Looks like a good number of their proxy servers kena banned by DPR due to excessive traffic.
Also every couple of times using Google I get a message saying there might be some trojan or virus or whatever that might be pounding their servers...and I need to type in something to verify that I'm not some spambot... geez... this is only going to get worse if SUCKHUB continue filtering everybody's web traffic through their pathetic few proxy servers!! :angry:
