Canon or nikon

Hi All,

I am very new here and new to DSLR. I am currently planning to buy a semi-SLR for my wedding and honeymoon. I understand from some saleman that the 2 brand canon and nikon is good. I not sure which brand and which semi-SLR to buy.

Please kindly advice how can i choose.

You can begin by doing your own research, by reading reviews and trying the cameras for yourself. And most importantly, MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND, do not let others tell you what to buy.

Don't choose any and don't start serious photography when you don't even have any idea which brand and model to start with.. You are an adult but still can't make up your own mind, so just give up the thought of buying SLR and start investing on a pns instead.

That way you will be contented and would not waste our time here..

hmmmm what's a semi slr? are you referring to a mid level dslr or a prosumer bridge camera?

all the cameras are good, the camera is but a tool
it is the photographer who controls the tool that creates the images
