Anyway, just to update a bit from the blog... This Saturday's Pengarang Trip is on. Some details below...
Date: 16 May 2009, Saturday
Meeting Time/Place: 7.30am @ Changi Point Ferry Jetty
Itinerary:
* Board boat by 8.00am to head to Pengarang
* Have lunch at Seafood Restaurant upon arrival + TCSS
* Occasional stop-overs for relax & photography
* Head back to jetty to catch last bumboat for home
Important:
* Passport must have at least six months validity from date of departure
* Change cash into Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and enough for lunch, breaks etc..
* Boat ride is approximately 45 minutes or so (If you suffering from sea-sick, please do have some precautionary measures on standby.)
* Last bumboat to leave Pengarang is at 4.00pm (This is crucial as I supposed nobody wants to spend a night over, ya?)
* Approximate distance to cover is 40km on bicycle at Pengarang.
Note:
In case the bicycles at Msia side are all screwed, I have found out from a bike rental shop at Changi Village that can provide us with good condition bicycles for our trip. Therefore, I need to have all interested participants to confirm your trip by Thursday, 14 May.
