I have yet to PP my pictures bcos I shot in RAW for once. But I have one to show.

Used Lightroom to correct WB, fill flash, up contrast then convert to jpeg and transfer to photoshop to do DI. Go to my flickr page and you will see my comparison of the same photo - before and after.

I personally do not like to see my sky in total blank and furthermore, it's washed out. So I DI-ed in the clouds from another photo I took earlier and made it look better. :bsmilie:

Maybe you can bring up the brownish texture of the pillars and the roof. But nice framing and the feel of it made it look like a deserted Colonial house.

hi guys! just wana ask if i can do a macro shot on a 18-55mm kit lens? because i tried some macro shot on a flower looks nice but for insects, i cannot make the insect to look big.. is there a possible way to do it? if there is can help me with the settings? i ask the question here because its the thread for all 450d users.

Usually how I attempt macro-ish shots with kit lens it to set to Manual, open up the aperture as big as possible, then get up-close

If still not big enough... CROP!:bsmilie:

You can try getting a raynox dcr 250.. than can take super big big macro shots. Look at my macro thread for samples.
