Yeah, and i've lots of explaination to do, on why i need a 24" mac, or can't settle with a smaller one. Etc. To my parents. Even though i'm paying it with my own money. ZZZ... Dad was quite open, he said, you need a new com? Haha. Mom's not back yet. I wonder what she'll say?

Yeah. She has been having trouble recently starting up. Managed to revive her after 10 times of booting. Flushed the BIOS. The hard ware is just too old for an upgrade. Morning i had to jump start about 4 times then she finally kicked into her own power. I believe there's some crap hiding inside and causing havoc in the system registry files. I have no way to remove that. Despite deleting and reformating. Though it's not there, i believe there are traces of it still lingering around. Despite all the heavy proctection, virus/malware can still slip in. Couple with a old system. You get constant crashes. I believe once i shut her off tonight. Might not be able to boot up again.

The system able to power up and not able to boot into Windows?

Yeah. Initially it powered up. Like in the morning, it just had trouble booting into windows. It powered up then got stuck at windows and shut itself off.


Now it can't even start. It powers up a little, then shuts off. She's running now. I've recently noticed this program running. obnc.exe. I did scans and stuff, they system was clean. But this particular program eats up major resource. And it's not labeled under system, but owner. Very weird.

Applications that run under the user's account will be reflected as that. It need not be executed by you, but as long as its tagged to it, it will be under your account name.

PSU is fine. Checked that first. Yeah. I do know that one. But i have nothing that runs with the name starting ob.... very suspicious. And when it's running, my internet connection is being sucked upon. And after ending that program. My internet slows down and my system resources are all freed up. It might be a bot programm.

If PSU is fine, how could it just shut off by itself? Not sure if I've completely understood your situation, but under normal circumstances, the system should be able to power up as long as PSU is functioning properly.

If its sucking up on your bandwidth, how can terminating it still slows down your broadband?

Thanks bro for all the hassle! I hoped the tee is nice because I sent in the design, I never see any of the production. But like my last assignment, the tees are perfectly nice.

Err. Ok, maybe i phrased it wrongly. After terminating the program, my bandwith goes back to normal. Not slow any more.


I swapped the PSU with another PSU i have as spare, same problem occurs. That's why i say it's weird.

The spare PSU might be faulty too. Even new PSU can be dead on arrival.

You should loan a working piece from your friend to test it out.

obnc.exe Confirm. I tried seaching the net about it. No clues. I don't have anything from Symantec. So it can't be obc.exe
