I had the above lens.
can this lens use on DSLR?
Any different in term of sharpness, etc on DSLR and SLR?

Not a bad lens at all - more versatile than the 28-105 or 28-135 at the WIDE end if you are using a 1.6x crop DSLR.

Decent contrast, colour.
Average sharpness - although 28-105 3.5-4.5 or 28-135 is probably just slightly better.

Much better than 18-55 KIT lens.

Can be used on ANY Canon DSLR

I used to have one but sold it when I got my 17-40L.

Very good value second hand at about 350 for a good piece

You can use this lens.

BUT it will be a 38-136 lens. Something to think about...
